Sabak Bernam is Selangor's northernmost district, predominantly agricultural with extensive paddy fields and coastal fishing communities along the Straits of Malacca.

Highlights

Paddy Fields

Some of Selangor's largest rice-growing areas are found here, vital to regional agriculture and to the rhythms of daily life in the district. Harvest season brings communities together in much the same way local tournaments do.

Coastal Fishing Communities

Villages along the Straits of Malacca are sustained by generations of fishing families who have worked these waters for decades. Many of the district's club members are drawn from these same close-knit coastal towns.

Rural Character

The most agrarian of Selangor's districts, Sabak Bernam moves at a slower, farming-rooted pace of life than its urban neighbours. That close-knit character makes its billiard clubs feel less like venues and more like extended family.
